Our Executive Team


Clive Saron has been active in the insurance industry for 50 years. During that time he has worked in a variety of roles including broker, in both the retail and wholesale sectors as an active shareholder, managing director and chairman.

Born in South Africa he began his career learning the insurance business within his family's firm which provided a sound and thorough knowledge of the many aspects of insurance.

Later, his own company focused on claims management, risk mitigation, marketing and other related requirements of the industry.

He moved to the U.K. 25 years ago and has been involved in the development and growth of insurance related companies e.g. Chairman of BEST sold to Capita, IGI Insurance Company Ltd. sold to AmTrust Europe, and Specialty Assistance Limited sold to The Collinson Group.    He was active in the sale of The Insurance Insider Publications to Euromoney PLC.

For a number of years he was the Non-Exec Chairman of Quantum Leben AG, a European based Life Insurer.

Clive is currently chairman of Reactive Claims, ITHC and TAMIS.

With his knowledge, experience and success in product development, business growth and general insurance expertise, Clive heads the SecurityTrust team as Chairman of the Board.


David joined the insurance industry in 1983, with National Mutual in Melbourne Australia, first in sales and then to branch, marketing and general management.

Extending his skills into insurance and financial product development, David created several new products in both the life and pensions/superannuation markets. One such product achieved huge success and was still sold until recently.

Returning to the UK in 1992, he worked in medical insurance field sales before entering in a joint venture arrangement with a large health insurer to build a direct marketing division.

In 1997 he founded Insurety PLC (now known as April UK), an insurance provider where he created several imaginative income protection, private medical and cash plan products. Over the next five years he led the company, with its subsidiary, Capital Healthcare, into new markets and success.

David is author of 'Out Of The Box Marketing' and the college manual ‘Advancing in Marketing’ as well as over 30 proprietary business and marketing manuals. He has contributed expert opinion & comment on TV, radio and other media. He was also featured in the Channel 4 documentary ‘How The Other Half Live’, shown globally.


Julia has 19 years sales, management and business operational experience in the insurance and financial services industry.

Starting as an advisor with Sun Life of Canada and moving into sales management with Sun Alliance, BUPA and later Norwich Union, she gained several top sales accolades and valuable experience in the corporate PMI and pension investments market.

Julia launched her own company in 2001 and developed a whole of market comparison and quote engine for brokers. In doing so, she recruited a team of 30 brokers and advisors for the mortgage, investments and private medical insurance markets.

In 2006, she setup Assure-U, a directly authorised company and assisted in the introduction of PMI to a large UK network of 17,000 brokers.

Julia’s expertise also includes compliance, operations and broker recruitment.

Managing Director - Sweden

After moving from Sweden to Australia in 1984, Staffan entered the insurance industry and quickly established a highly successful agency, first with National Mutual and later Legal and General. At the latter, he built a large sales team and became one of the top Australian general agents.

In 1999 Staffan moved back to Sweden and shortly afterwards built a direct sales organisation of over 10,000 agents across Europe.

2007 saw Staffan start a music company where he and his partners contracted several successful artists.

Over the last 7 years Staffan has operated his own business development consultancy where he has assisted many SME’s to increase sales and profitability. More recently, he assisted in the development and eventual sale of a software company to a large corporate.



The company’s range of current and forthcoming products extends across both personal and company group (employee benefits) lines in the life, medical, income, health and lifestyle markets.

These products and associated services offer innovative benefits to customers that are supported by leading underwriters as well as our international claims and concierge services.


SecurityTrust has developed a sophisticated quote and bind software platform that provides an online quote engine, joining system, application processing, client-accessed mid-term adjustment and renewal. As a totally automated platform it also includes policy issuance, client administration, broker management, alert and bordereau reports and more.

This platform offers customers a complete, online, paperless transaction and has been designed, from inception, as an automated and seamless customer journey. This is a systemised process that minimises complaints, accelerates and enhances the application experience and is fully compliant.
